Delaunay Circles
Supplies:
- 8x11 piece of white paper. The heavier the paper the better.
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Crayons
- Water based markers (not permanent)
- Watercolor Paint *If you do not have watercolor paint, skip Step 4.
For this project you will:
- Understand the difference between organic and geometric shape
- Become familiar with the work of Delaunay
- Experiment with color by filling each grid square with concentric rounded organic shapes
Grading:
I will need to know that you have completed this assignment. There are a few different options
- You can take a picture of your completed work and email it to me
- You can send in a note to school, from a parent, stating that you have completed the Kandinsky Color Study Project
- You can ask a parent to call my number and leave a message that you have completed this assignment. Please ask your parent to be sure to leave YOUR name and teacher's name.
