Matisse Goldfish
This project will take approximately 90 minutes and will count for 3 art periods. It will cover the dates of Aug. 31st-Sept. 4th, Sept. 8th-Sept. 11th, and Sept. 14th-Sept. 18th.
Supplies:
- 8x11 piece of white paper. The heavier the paper the better.
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Black Permanent Marker
- Green and Orange Marker *If you do not have markers, you can use crayon or colored pencil.
For this project you will:
- Understand the difference between Shape and Form
- Understand the different types of line
- Create an artwork based on a piece by Matisse
- Find shapes and forms in a known work of art and recreate in personal artwork

- You can send in a note to school, from a parent, stating that you have completed the Matisse Goldfish project
- You can ask a parent to call my number and leave a message that you have completed this assignment. Please ask your parent to be sure to leave YOUR name and teacher's name.
